Woombye Community Library have been offering Books on Wheels for many years and is run by our volunteer Chris Hitzman. This service is for library members who cannot get to the library, usually because they are homebound. Chris will visit you once a fortnight with a selection of books based on your likes or previous borrowing and pick up any books that are finished to return to the library. If this sounds like a service you could use, please contact the library on 544 222 50 and leave your details for Chris Hitzman or email the library at woombyecommunitylibrary@gmail.com
Book Chat
10am to 11am 2nd Wednesday of the month
Book chat is a fun way for readers to meet and discuss books that they loved. It’s not a book club so there are no set reading requirements. Come along and meet new people with a shared interest in a social setting at Kimnat Café Woombye.
